About this course

A 4-day hybrid course for IT administrators and managers covering cloud fundamentals, hybrid infrastructure planning, backup and disaster recovery, and day-to-day monitoring and maintenance practices — built around real tools and scenarios you'll use on the job. Two days in our Windhoek lab for hands-on labs, two days live online for planning and strategy sessions.

Curriculum

Day 1 — Cloud Fundamentals (Lab)

Cloud service models, providers and core building blocks.

Day 2 — Hybrid Infrastructure (Lab)

Connecting on-premise systems to the cloud; identity and access basics.

Day 3 — Backup, DR & Monitoring (Online)

Backup strategy, disaster recovery testing and monitoring/alerting.

Day 4 — Planning & Cost Management (Online)

Infrastructure roadmapping, documentation and cost optimisation.

Prerequisites

Basic networking and systems administration knowledge recommended.

Schedule

Days 1–2 in person (hands-on labs), Days 3–4 delivered live online (planning & strategy). Includes a take-home infrastructure planning template.
